8 Pots Mini Hot Pot 8 serves a very specific need. Sometimes, I want hot pot, but I don’t feel like stuffing my face at an all-you-can-eat place. Unfortunately, many of the places that aren’t all-you-can-eat are priced about the same in order to get a satisfactory amount of food. 8 Pots Mini Hot Pot 8 enables customers to get a satisfactory amount of hot pot food at an appropriate price.

As far as I know, the only other place that does this in Flushing is Zhang Liang Hot Pot. This place surpasses Zhang Liang as it is slightly cheaper and offers a greater variety of soup broth flavors, where Zhang Liang only really offers one kind of broth.

We ordered the garlic hot pot (cost about $10) and the milk hot pot (cost about $13). Both were fine, though I don’t think I’d order the milk hot pot again. It is unique. Both hot pots come with a bunch of ingredients already included from veggies to proteins. You can add additional toppings which cost from one to five dollars. There are also a bunch of side dishes you can order like sliced beef with spicy sauce, french fries, salted crispy chicken and pumpkin pancake. I didn’t try any of these side dishes so I can’t attest to how they are.

Hot Pot Kits

There’s a sauce station that has what you’d usually expect at a hot pot place. The only glaring thing missing was the lack of sesame oil.

Individual Hot Pot

The service was surprisingly good. When I go to a restaurant where English isn’t the first language of most employees, I expect a moderate amount of abuse or ignorance from the staff. I didn’t get that here and that means the service here is already superior than most restaurants in Flushing.

The interior is also very clean and modern looking. It was comfortable. There were also plenty of relatively young people here which likely meant this place was “happening.”

Mini Personal Hot Pot Electric

Overall, this was a great place to eat and perfect for friends or even a date.
